Probaly someone already talked about that but, in volume 66, chapter 593, there was a scene where Utsuro as a child was put on the stake (?) wasn’t him immortal and didn’t get old? So if he did grew up and can’t die, all of this didn’t happen when he was a kid? Or that on the stake wasn’t Utsuro?

Utsuro is not really an immortal that can’t grew old. The altana is like adding a really powerful gasoline that make people special. So it’s not that he can’t die, it’s just that he is so strong that can recover in an unusual way, and it’s not that he can’t age, he just age in a really slow pace. So until his flesh will not just be consumed, he will just grow as normal humans being do.It’s only that the sudden deterioration of cells starting after the adolescence in his case is a slower process. Seen that from a normal person’s point of view he can’t age at all because they just can see it. He just get old really slowly.
